WOW.... The food here is incredible... Massive selection of drinks including Whiskey flights, cocktails and spirits. Great friendly staff and just a great southern charm. Loved it and will definitely be back.

Fantastic food, incredible staff, awesome atmosphere and WOW the cocktails are to die for! Guest beers on tap and country music playing - can’t recommend this place highly enough.

It's not often I'm unhappy with Google's rating system. Mostly because I'd want to give a place 0 stars. This time it's because 5 stars doesn't seem enough. My wife has decreed that their cheesecake is the best she's ever had. I wouldn't know, as it was inhaled before I had the option. She also had a Bramble cocktail which was apparently amazing as well. I had chips and the boneless chicken. The chips were crispy, hot and well seasoned. Now the chicken... It's not going to be a replacement for kids nuggets. There's some kick to them. That kick is all flavour, absolutely, and the crunch is outrageously sublime. I went without dressing but I'll definitely be going for a honey mustard when I try to replicate it at home. Massive thanks to Bonnie the superstar who served us, too. Communication and experience were top tier. She's fantastic. Overall, an amazing experience from an incredible team. Well done!

Dropped in on a Thursday arvo and was pleasantly surprised by the friendly staff, great atmosphere and both the great price and quality of the food. Thu was $15 Burger night and the didn’t disappoint. Had the chicken and beef burgers and both very tasty. Overall a great, reasonably priced casual restaurant with friendly staff. We will be back.

Great place for a drink and bite of Southern style food. Half price ribs for Saturday lunch accompanied by the buffalo chicken....very nice

Will definitely be back. My friend has been telling me about deadwood for a while now, so was very keen to come yesterday. We had the wings, no complaints!! Had a try of the death sauce, was in fact the appropriate name for it but couldn’t stop going back for it. The cheesecake was unreal, we shared one but then obviously had to get another. The staff were extremely attentive and kind, checked in on us several times. The atmosphere was also unreal. Beautiful views, the venue was the best. The other menu looked great, so I can’t wait to come back and try. Definitely worth the 1hr drive.

You will just feel welcome in the place, right from the time you stepped in, order your food, enjoying your food till you leave. The guys who welcome me were just superb, I wish I got their names. The food, I had the the Smokey American Bratwurst, their special for the day. How was it, I guess the clean plates will tell how good it was. Even though I may not have the chance to come back, the memory of being here will be cherished forever. Great job guys.

Deadwood is an epic place. It’s easily the most interesting and exciting place in Dromana and probably the peninsula. They get everything right here. Everything. The place itself is so cosy and inviting. And it’s so cleverly set out and decorated. You just can’t help looking around and smiling at all the interesting US themed things on the walls. The atmosphere they get here has to be experienced to be believed. The place really buzzes and rocks at peak times probably because it’s a place that offers such a great experience. The drinks selection is extensive. From American liquors through to wines and beers and everything else you’d expect. The share plates are incredible too. We started with fish tacos which were absolutely delicious. Then, we decided to give the buffalo wings a try. These are incredible. Whoever came up with the sauce is a bloody genius. It’s initially very warm when you try it but then the heat subsides and you are left with a really lovely aftertaste of flavour and warmth. I can’t really describe it more fully but we both commented joyously on it later. It’s just a great dish that really delivers. We can’t actually wait to try it again! This is a very well run business and the owners and staff really genuinely go out of their way to show you a good time. We had interactions with five people working here and the level of efficiency, help, humour and pleasantness they offered was exceptional and has to be commended. They should all be very proud of what they’ve created here as for us who have tried everything here, Deadwood is the heart of the township Second visit We loved it here so much we went straight back the next week. We tried the happy hour cocktails which were delicious. We also had two share plates. The chicken bites with a maple syrup dip. Seriously tasty plus the quality of the chicken here is quite exceptional. Very tender plus this dish was so well cooked. The Mac and cheese balls were also very good.

Great atmosphere! Well worth a visit! Their cocktails have their own spin on them and you get a Texan vibe. Food is great and came out quick. Fried pickles were great and the wings were delicious!

Great variety of cocktails and drinks. The staff are knowledgeable and very attentive. When we had an issue with drink order it was promptly resolved. Tried the chicken bites which were very nice, keen to come back and try more of the food menu. Fun and welcoming atmosphere. Oklahoma Smokeshow, Broken Cowboy and Canadian Tuxedo are outstanding cocktails.
